Bring the Art of Stillness into your winter.

As the days grow shorter, winter invites us to slow down and turn inward. Yet the demands of modern life often keep us moving when we long for rest.

Like a tree drawing its vitality inward toward its roots, we can allow this season to become a time of quiet nourishment. Beneath the surface, stillness offers space to gather ourselves and listen to what needs our attention.

Connecting with stillness gives us a place to pause amid life’s demands. Through practice, we become more familiar with this inward refuge and more able to carry its quiet into everyday life.

With careful guidance, you will explore gentle ways to settle the body, soften unnecessary effort, and rest in awareness. There is no need to force the mind into silence or achieve a particular experience.

We will blend guided meditations with profound quiescent meditation with periods of receptive stillness in which there is less to do and more space simply to be.

During quiescent meditation, the teacher offers what is traditionally described as an energetic transmission. Some participants report a tangible sense of resonance, even through Zoom. These experiences are personal and vary.

You may notice peace, warmth, emotional tenderness, or a sense of connection. You may encounter restlessness or ordinary thoughts. All can be met with patience; no special experience is required.

Together, we will enter the quiet of winter, allowing stillness to nourish us as we return to the source.

Not only could I feel the energy you were projecting during meditation, I could feel when you shifted the intensity up and down.

I was being pushed backwards when you turned it up - through the computer! Simply Awesome!
