Course overview
The Yi Jing, or Book of Changes, is a revered Chinese divination text rooted in Daoist philosophy that offers wisdom bridging spiritual, philosophical, and practical realms through its eight symbolic trigrams.  

These eight trigrams which are based upon the movement of yin and yang have resonated deeply with seekers of knowledge for millennia, guiding them through the ebb and flow of life. 
In addition to Dao talks, scriptural work, and meditation, this year’s monthly Daoist training will focus on the Book of Changes (一经 Yi Jing).

Few texts in Chinese philosophy and history hold as much mystery and reverence as the Yi Jing. Known as the Book of Changes, it offers a comprehensive system of divination and a lens through which to view life’s ebb and flow.

Central to its teachings are the eight trigrams, symbols that have guided seekers of wisdom for millennia. These trigrams represent the eternal interplay of yin and yang, encapsulating the essence of natural phenomena and cosmic principles.
